Porous bronze 89/11 filters
AMES offers its customers the ability to manufacture porous bronze filters and components with specific shapes.
The material used for these filters is 89/11 tin bronze. The bronze filters are manufactured by filling a mould with spherical particles of bronze and then sintering the preform.
The pore size is adjusted by selecting the particle size.
The high pore size and geometric versatility of the bronze filters make them suitable for many applications, such as filtration (only small pore grades), pressure drop, mufflers, moisture protection and flow control.

- Intermediate grades can be manufactured on demand.
- Equivalent to the bubble point, determined at a continuous flow rate of 5 ml/min.
